Sergio Villa is the founder and driving force behind Mobilitaly, a high-end company producing collections and unique pieces that blend cultural tradition with contemporary taste. The atelier specializes in “tailored furnishing” marked by seductive eccentricity, artistic design, sophisticated craftsmanship, and high decorative standards. Creativity is at the core of its work, with particular attention to color, form, and innovation. Mobilitaly’s products are unique, exclusive, and often provocative, reflecting the customer’s personality, while the company constantly strives for avant-garde through commitment, discipline, and innovation.
Carlo Rampazzi, born in Ascona in 1949, is a Swiss-born designer with a global outlook. Trained in architecture and interior decoration in Lugano and Paris, he developed a cosmopolitan aesthetic through travel and cultural exploration. Since the 1970s, he has focused on furniture and interior design, creating projects worldwide, including private homes, boutiques, hotels, spas, yachts, and commercial spaces.
From the 1980s, Rampazzi reinterpreted classical styles with a contemporary, maximalist approach, producing a “new classic” furniture line showcased at major fairs and exhibitions. Today, together with decorator Sergio Villa, he designs and produces furniture and decorative objects characterized by high craftsmanship, limited editions, and a mix of materials such as fur, majolica, glass, and leather, often customizable.
Rampazzi’s philosophy is to furnish spaces as he dresses himself: timeless, emotional, and unbound by fashion or function.
